I really didn't understand killing their own relatives and making a fake peace treaty and fatten for friendship is just a trick. Don Richardson was giving up hope to the Sawi because of their sabotoge. Don Richardson was thinking of leaving the Sawi behind but he noticed that exchange in an infant which is the peace child is representing Peace, and killing the peace child is a pitiful act. As Don Richardson spoke to the People about the Gospel and Bible, many Sawi people started to change their lives. The church was established but other tribes couldn't attend churches and continued on praising their ancestors or spirits.
Then again, finding redemptive analogies in a particular work of fiction is optional. Finding them in the actual, deeply-held beliefs of a culture is a common-sense part of effectively winning members of that culture to Jesus.
